Working Groups

Purpose: This working group responds to Government and regulatory consultations on regulation of crypto assets, including secondary services relating to crypto assets.

Purpose: ABA members are working towards an industry-wide response to government digital ID initiatives.

Purpose: To consult on national proposals relating to digital record keeping, privacy and vulnerable customers. For example, this working group will deal with proposals relating to a national register for enduring powers of attorney.

Purpose: Ensure appropriate engagement with APRA on BEAR/FAR and product responsibility​.

Purpose: To provide input into a scheduled review of the ABA Industry Guideline: Banks’ Financial Difficulty Programs (Guideline). Members should nominate senior representatives from their retail and small business hardship areas.

Purpose: To develop banking policy which enables first nations people to participate fully in the banking system.

Purpose: ​Represent member views to APRA as part of the policy development phase and ensure that final APRA policy implementing the final Basel rules on the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) is implementable within the proposed timeframe.
