Submission to APRA on a three-tiered framework

The ABA welcomes APRA’s proposal to formalise a three-tiered prudential framework for banks and broadly supports APRA’s approach. The ABA seeks APRA’s commitment to transparency and accountability in the practical implementation of proportionality in its regulatory activity under the three-tiered framework.
