Nick leads the Financial Crime Policy team at the Australian Banking Association with a focus on achieving consumer protection and regulatory compliance objectives in a consistent and cost-effective manner. His areas of responsibility include AML/CTF, sanctions, cyber security and critical infrastructure and digital identity as well as implementation of the Scam Prevention Framework. Prior to joining the ABA, Nick led the development of strategic partnerships for connectID, the digital ID initiative of Australian Payments Plus. He also served as the inaugural CEO of Blockchain Australia and was Deputy Chair of the Australian Government's Blockchain Advisory Committee. Nick has lived and worked in 6 countries and visited 118.
