Steve has extensive experience in financial services policy development, review and implementation including designing and leading organisational change in strategy, risk and compliance.

Steve has recently led the development and approval by ASIC of the 2025 Banking Code and is also responsible for managing the ABA’s relationship with the Banking Code Compliance Committee (BCCC).

In addition, Steve assists in overseeing the Fee Free ATM scheme and assessing competition, insolvency and freedom of information law requirements.
